Not too long ago, I had a REALLY fortuitous thrifting trip- as I drove home, I realized I had found materials for nine different projects. NINE! Maybe the thrifts were all freshly replenished, or maybe I was wearing a most impressive thinking cap, but either way, it was an adventure for the record books. I struck thrifter’s gold the other day (or, more like thrifter’s silver) when I spotted a wire bread basket on the Goodwill shelves. In fact, I spotted SEVERAL wire bread baskets. They were perfectly tarnished (i.e., patina!) and in need of a new purpose in life. As I studied the collection of wire baskets, I pondered the idea of transforming them in various ways.

Windmill Decor from Ceiling Fan Blades

Mr. Seasongoods and I are slowly (and I mean SLOWLY) giving our home office a face lift. The first order of business was replacing the outdated squeaky ceiling fan.
