Decorative trays are something I’m always drawn to in thrift stores. Sometimes, they’re plain and an ideal canvas for a makeover idea. Other times, though, I see them as the catalyst for another project completely, no longer living life as a tray. And then there are those even rarer times, when I find something else completely that I end up turning into a tray.

We live in an “attention economy” these days, but trust me when I tell you that there is some good stuff in these posts! All sorts of tips, tricks, and other craft essentials that can get lost in the middle. So, I thought it might be a fun exercise to gather all of those tips into a fun round-up post.Read more ›

For the Love of Shiny Brite Ornaments
Just about every vintage-collector I know has one thing in common: they all have a soft spot in their hearts for Shiny Brite ornaments. The entire Thrift Store Decor Team has been bemoaning the same thing recently- “It’s too hot outside to work on projects!”. So, the Thrift Store Decor Team and I decided it would be fun to pool our resources and put together a collection of upcycling ideas for patriotic decorations. AND, since some of our team members do recipe posts, they included a few festive food ideas, as well!
